Neonatal Circumcision

Circumcision is performed for a variety of religious and cultural reasons, often at the request of the parents. The American Academy of Pediatrics has concluded that current scientific evidence indicating potential medical benefits of newborn male circumcision is not sufficient to justify routine neonatal circumcision.
